In pursuit of creating knowledgeable and skilled workforce, the Ministry of Human Resources through Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad provides financial assistance to assist qualified employers in sending their workers for training and skills upgrading programmes. Employers will gain competitive advantage from increased workers’ productivity and high value added products and services.

Employers qualified for the financial assistance are employers under the following categories: 

A. MANUFACTURING SECTOR

1. Employers with 50 or more employees.

2. Employers with 10 or more but less than 50 employees and paid-up capital of RM2.5 million and above.

3. Employers with 10 or more but less than 50 employees and paid-up capital of less than RM2.5 million.

B. SERVICES SECTOR 

Employers with 10 or more employees in the following sub-sectors: 

1. Hotel

2. Air Transport

3. Tour Operating Business

4. Telecommunication

5. Freight Forwarding

6. Shipping

7. Postal and Courier

8. Advertising

9. Computer Services

10. Energy

11. Training

12. Higher Education

13. Direct Selling

14. Port Services

15. Engineering Support and Maintenance

16. Research and Development

17. Warehousing Services

18. Security Services

19. Private Hospital Services

20. Commercial land transport and railway transport services

21. Hypermarket, Supermarket and Departmental Store
